Electro-Holding-Magnet 515
Type 515 electro-holding magnets are used for the economical holding of ferromagnetic parts in production and fixture construction.
The magnetic field is generated by the DC excitation winding. The coil encloses an iron core which is connected to the outer legs. This creates a north and south pole. The magnetic holding effect only occurs when energised.
The magnet body is made of special steel with high magnetic conductivity. The winding is made of highly insulated copper wire and is moulded into the magnet housing, completely protected against vibration and moisture.
The electrical connection is available in different versions depending on customer requirements. Control with 24 V DC can be realised via our rectifier or, in the case of control via PLC, in fully automated operation via our electronic pole-reversal control unit.
