Clamping magnets
Precision, safety and energy efficiency
WAGNER MAGNETE's control technology in the field of clamping sets new standards in precision, safety and energy efficiency. Since 1935, we have been offering expertise in magnet technology and developing solutions that are specially tailored to the requirements of our customers. Whether for clamping, holding, transporting or demagnetising - our focus is always on optimum integration into existing systems and adaptability to diverse areas of application.
Our control units ensure a stable and reliable power supply for the clamping magnets and enable precise and intuitive control. They also feature protective mechanisms such as overload, short-circuit and overvoltage protection to minimise potential hazards for people and machines.
Our high-performance control technology for clamping magnets enables precise holding and efficient switching. With electronic pole-reversal control units, we offer maximum switching dynamics and adjustable holding force. Our system remains active even during power failures and only consumes energy for short pulses. Integrated functions such as remote control, automatic control and safety systems ensure flexibility and protection. We increase your productivity with the latest technologies, and practical tests can be carried out in the Wagner technical centre.

For precise holding, secure loosening and effective demagnetisation
The control units for clamping magnets enable precise control of the holding force of workpieces. By using a digital signal processor, the current through the magnetic coils can be controlled, creating a magnetic field that securely binds the workpieces to the magnet. The holding force is influenced by various parameters, such as the magnetic field strength, the depth of the magnetic field, the current strength, the material and the surface quality of the workpieces.
Different methods are used to reverse the polarity, depending on the type of magnet. The polarity reversal of the magnetic field and the control electronics play an important role in ensuring effective demagnetisation . The technical operating principle of the control devices enables precise control of the holding force, safe release and effective demagnetisation of workpieces, which enables a wide range of applications in metalworking.
