Metal detectors
Reliable in use worldwide
Simple principle - simple operation
Highly sensitive measuring device
Metal detectors are highly sensitive measuring devices. A high-frequency electromagnetic field is generated in a transmitter coil through which the conveyed material moves. A receiver coil continuously measures and monitors this electromagnetic search field.
Metal objects in the conveyed material briefly and slightly change the field lines of the search field due to their metal properties as they pass through. Any amplitude and phase changes in the field are transmitted to the control electronics.
MORE COST-EFFECTIVE
CRUSHER AND MILL PROTECTION
EVEN WITH NON-MAGNETIC METAL PARTS
Metal detectors are a cost-effective solution to protect downstream crushers and mills from serious and costly damage.
All types of metal can be detected. Metal detectors are therefore an ideal complement to iron separators, which can only separate magnetisable metals.
Robust and reliable
WITH FLEXIBLE CONTROL ELECTRONICS FOR INDIVIDUAL APPLICATIONS
The transmitter and receiver coils are firmly moulded into the shielding sheet steel housings using special filling material, which is why our devices are very resistant to mechanical and thermal loads.
If none of our standard devices can be installed due to particularly difficult installation conditions, we manufacture customised special versions.
The control electronics can be installed up to 50 metres away from the probe.
