Lifting magnets
Lifting magnets
Due to their high load-bearing capacity and reliability, lifting magnets are able to hold and transport a wide variety of loads safely and precisely. They are used in various applications, such as lifting steel plates, pipes, cast parts or components.
Heavy-duty magnets are characterised by a high magnetic force, which is achieved through optimum utilisation of the magnetic field. They can be manufactured in various sizes and shapes and are capable of lifting and moving loads weighing several tonnes.

Particularly strong magnets
For strong attraction
Our lifting magnets work in the same way as other electro-permanent magnets, but due to the use of particularly strong magnets and special housings and magnetic circuits, they are able to generate very high holding forces. WAGNER MAGNETE uses special reinforced neodymium magnets, which can generate a high magnetic force due to their high energy density and high magnetisability.
By applying a magnetic field, the magnetic fields of the individual magnets inside the housing are aligned in such a way that a particularly high magnetic flux density is created in the area of the magnetic surface. The magnetic force also depends on the geometry of the magnet and the distance to the workpiece.
High load capacities
For loads weighing tonnes
The lifting magnets from WAGNER MAGNETE have lifting capacities from a few kilograms up to several tonnes and are suitable for a wide range of applications in industry, transport and handling, for example in the steel trade:
- steel trade
- steel construction
- vehicle construction
- Component manufacturing
- assembly
