Holding magnets
Holding magnets
Holding magnets are used to hold parts in place using magnetic forces. They ensure that parts or tools are held securely both during machining processes and assembly. Furthermore, holding magnets can also be used for the automated handling or transport of parts, provided this takes place in a secured area.
Holding magnets are preferably designed as electromagnets and, depending on the application and requirements, are used in a wide variety of industrial sectors, such as the automotive industry, mechanical engineering or medical technology.

Strong holding magnets
For demanding applications
Our holding magnets are characterised by a high electromagnetic holding force. The magnetic field is generated by the DC excitation winding. The coil encloses an iron core which is connected to the outer legs. This creates a north and south pole. The magnetic holding effect only occurs when energised.
The magnet body is made of special steel with high magnetic conductivity. The winding is made of highly insulated copper wire and is moulded into the magnet housing, completely protected against vibration and moisture.
Our holding magnets are manufactured taking into account the ambient temperature and installation conditions to ensure reliable and constant performance .
