Low-Frequency-Generator 244
Low-Frequency-Generator 244 are used to improve the demagnetising effect of demagnetising devices. WAGNER MAGNETE low-frequency generators reduce the mains frequency to 16 2/3 Hz. This achieves greater field strengths of the alternating magnetic field of demagnetising devices and thus a significant improvement in demagnetising quality, especially with high-alloy and hardened materials.
The depth effect is greatly increased for solid workpieces, bulk parts or bulk material in containers. All WAGNER AC demagnetising devices can be operated with the low-frequency generator type 244 as a ballast. It must be ensured that the rated power of the low-frequency generator is sufficient for the connected device.
A control signal can be used to switch between mains frequency and low frequency at any time. For applications in which the workpiece cannot be moved away from the demagnetiser, it is optionally possible to reduce the power of the demagnetiser to zero via a time-controlled ramp when switching off.
For applications where the low-frequency generator 244 cannot be installed in a control cabinet, versions with an IP65 housing are available.
