Control-Unit 744
The type 744 control units are used to switch all Wagner electro and electro-permanent solenoids in conjunction with the pole-reversal control units. They are available with or without a 6-, 8- or 16-stage holding force switch.
Depending on the version, the control units are used with clamping solenoids, holding solenoids and lifting magnets.
Clamping
When the button is pressed, the workpiece is clamped and can be machined. As long as the magnet is switched on, the button lights up green.
The holding force of the magnet corresponds to the holding force level preselected via the selector switch.
Reverse polarity
When the button is pressed, the polarity reversal process starts to demagnetise the workpiece. As long as the polarity reversal process is running, the button lights up white. As soon as the indicator goes out, the workpiece can be removed from the magnet.
Holding force selector switch
The adhesive force level is preselected using a coding switch. This is available in 6, 8 or 16 levels (the highest holding force level corresponds to 100% holding force).
