Electro Magnetic Pulley 431
The direct current is supplied via the attached slip ring assembly. For outputs up to 3,500 watts, the rectifier can also be integrated into the terminal box of the slip ring assembly at low cost.
Electromagnetic belt pulleys are used as an alternative to permanent magnetic belt pulleys if the iron separation is not to be permanently active.
Functional principle
HOW DO magnetic tape rolls WORK?
Magnetic belt rollers have a permanently installed magnetic system that extends around the entire circumference of the roller. They are installed in conveyor belts instead of drive or deflection rollers. Ferrous parts contained in the conveyor flow are held by the magnetic field of the magnetic belt roller and pulled out of the material flow in the discharge area. The ferrous parts accumulate at the lower apex of the magnetic roller and are pulled out of the magnetic field by the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt should be equipped with cross cleats for this purpose.
