Permanent Magnetic Pulley 0431
All rollers from 250 mm diameter have continuous shafts with clamping sets or flange-mounted shaft journals. The roller length depends on the width of the conveyor belt, the roller diameter is selected according to the task. The type of material to be conveyed, the size of the ferrous parts to be removed, the conveying capacity and the layer height occurring must be taken into account.
The belt speeds specified in the table should not be exceeded if possible. The conveyor belt must be equipped with cross cleats, especially for rollable parts and when using very strong magnetic systems, in order to be able to safely pull the ferrous parts out of the magnetic field and discharge them. We customise the shaft dimensions to the customer's requirements.
Functional principle
HOW DO magnetic tape rolls WORK?
Magnetic belt rollers have a permanently installed magnetic system that extends around the entire circumference of the roller. They are installed in conveyor belts instead of drive or deflection rollers. Ferrous parts contained in the conveyor flow are held by the magnetic field of the magnetic belt roller and pulled out of the material flow in the discharge area. The ferrous parts accumulate at the lower apex of the magnetic roller and are pulled out of the magnetic field by the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt should be equipped with cross cleats for this purpose.
