Electro-Permanent-Lifting-Magnet 5190N
Electro-Permanent-Lifting-Magnets 5190N are used wherever ferromagnetic parts need to be lifted and transported safely.
The integrated bipolar double magnet system not only achieves high load-bearing forces with a low magnet weight for transporting flat or cubic parts, but can also safely pick up round parts such as shafts and pipes with easy-to-fit prism-shaped pole shoes.
The narrow design also allows individual, bar-shaped parts to be gripped up to the outermost edge of a stack of parts, which largely eliminates the need for gaps between the parts in the stack. For large or very long workpieces, it is possible to use several magnets on one traverse.
The ferromagnetic parts are clamped and released from the electro-permanent lifting magnet with a short current pulse that activates or deactivates the permanent magnet system. This pulse control ensures low energy consumption with minimal self-heating.
The workpieces are held by the built-in permanent magnet system without any additional power supply. A high-maintenance battery system, as with the use of electric magnets, is therefore not necessary. In the event of a power failure, the magnet retains its holding force - workpieces do not fall off!
With the corresponding pole-reversal control units (USG) from Wagner Magnete, the electro-permanent lifting magnets can be controlled reliably and quickly. The magnetisation process is monitored each time the solenoid is switched on. This ensures optimum operational safety, even in the event of a power failure. Depending on the version, up to 16 holding force levels are available, e.g. to pick up even very thin parts individually. Several demagnetising programmes ensure fast and precise release. The pole reversal control unit can be controlled either via a PLC or via a separate control unit as well as via buttons directly on the lifting magnet.
