Plate-Demagnetizing-Unit 215 P
The special design type 215P is a so-called portal demagnetising unit. Rotationally symmetrical workpieces, such as bearing rings or slewing rings, rotate between the two plate demagnetisers during the demagnetisation process. The distance between the two devices is adapted to the respective diameter of the workpiece.
This is particularly interesting for larger diameters from 1200 mm to 3000 mm. Here, a conventional demagnetisation process - a workpiece lying on a conveyor belt is moved by a tandem arrangement of two plate demagnetisation devices - is no longer possible.
With the type 215P, the alternating magnetic field is therefore induced into the rotating workpiece and slowly reduced to zero after a few revolutions at full power. The effect is therefore comparable to the standard linear movement of a conventional system.
