Iron Separation Drum
An iron separation drum consists of a mounted magnetic drum equipped with a separating apex, an adjusting device and an iron chute.
The system is used upstream of our non-ferrous separators to remove unwanted residual iron particles from the conveyed material.
The magnetic drum is designed in such a way that it attracts the metal particles and discharges them into the iron chute, while the cleaned material falls directly into the non-ferrous separator.
The adjustment device allows the magnetic drum to be positioned in such a way that it ensures optimum separation of the residual iron.
The open design facilitates maintenance and cleaning of the system and ensures continuous operation without interruptions.
