Passive oil cooling for lifting magnets
Passive oil cooling is an innovative variant of cooling for lifting magnets from WAGNER MAGNETE. Compared to conventional air cooling, this method offers greater efficiency and reliability, as the transformer oil dissipates the heat loss from the coil directly to the surface of the magnet block.
Oil cooling allows the solenoid coil to be subjected to higher loads, which results in greater lifting forces without having to change the dimensions of the solenoid. In addition, oil cooling is also wear-free and ensures a longer service life for the solenoid.
The oil expansion tank can optionally be connected via an oil hose and mounted separately from the solenoid block, which increases flexibility during installation.
