Cross pole division
Magnetic system -06 and -16
Cross-pole separation is a special form of pole arrangement in magnetic drum separators. The poles are arranged crosswise to enable particularly effective separation of ferrous parts.
When the material is fed in, the ferrous parts are rotated and turned in the transverse and discharge direction by the magnetic field. This means that even larger iron parts can be successfully separated.
Particularly in the case of hard ferrite drums, which are used for the separation of particularly hard materials, cross-pole separation is suitable for the pre-separation of larger ferrous parts while at the same time reducing the carry-over of good material. This makes the system particularly effective and economical.
