Direct drive

External drive

The direct drive from Wagner Magnete can be used in various magnetic drum separators. It consists of a drive shaft and a shaft-mounted geared motor that directly drives the drum shell of the magnetic drum.

 

The advantage of this design is that it is very reliable and effective. Compared to other drive types, such as a belt drive, the direct drive is low-maintenance and does not require regular inspection or readjustment.

 

The direct drive also achieves smoother running, as there are no additional friction losses due to the use of belts or chains. This ensures greater efficiency and longevity of the system.
