Clamping magnets for Grinding processing
Precision and stability for first-class results
Clamping magnets are extremely versatile tools that can also play to their strengths in the sanding process. They allow workpieces to be securely and precisely fasten ed to the sanding machine in order to achieve the desired shape and surface finish. During sanding, the surface of the workpiece is removed to eliminate unevenness, create sharp edges or achieve the desired surface structure.
The use of clamping magnets for sanding offers a number of advantages. Magnetic fixation holds the workpiece securely throughout the sanding process without the need for additional clamping devices or screw clamps. This optimises work processes and minimises set-up times.
In addition, clamping magnets ensure that the workpiece is held evenly and vibration-free on the sanding machine. This is crucial for achieving an even sanding result and avoiding inaccuracies or undesirable surface defects. The high holding force of the clamping magnets ensures that the workpiece remains stable during the sanding process, even at high speeds or in demanding sanding conditions.

For optimum hold
Clamping magnets are generally used for grinding on an electromagnetic basis. This means that the magnetic force of the clamping magnet is generated by a current-carrying coil . The clamping force of the magnet can be regulated via a control unit or remote control in order to adjust the holding force of the magnet to the workpiece.
When grinding with clamping magnets, it is important that the workpiece is positioned and aligned exactly to ensure precise machining. It is also important to regularly check the holding force of the magnet and the position of the workpiece during the sanding process to ensure that the workpiece does not slip or become damaged during the sanding process.
