Electro-Magnet-Clamping-Plate 115
with pendulum pole pitch
The electro-magnetic clamping plates in the 115 series are equipped with pendulum pole pitch. This special type of pole pitch offers you a symmetrical distribution of north and south poles over the entire clamping surface - in both longitudinal and transverse directions. This arrangement gives the clamping plate a particularly uniform adhesive force over the entire pole surface.

Functional principle
Electro-magnetic clamping systems essentially consist of three components:
- a solid steel base
- a copper winding
- a pole plate
The winding is moulded into the lower part and is therefore reliably protected against vibrations and moisture ingress.

In practical use, the pole plate is subject to wear. It is therefore designed in such a way that it can be reworked many times before the wear limit is reached. The pole plate can be easily replaced, which considerably increases the service life of the entire chuck.
